Annual Membership of ASAL brings the following benefits:

    • Receipt of the ASAL newsletter notifying about relevant conference, news and events in the field
    • Members are eligible to present at ASAL conferences, both at mini-conference and main annual conferences
    • Postgraduate members are eligible to apply for bursaries (to the value of $750) to support their attendance at ASAL conferences
    • Postgraduate members are eligible to enter the annual A. D. Hope Prize for Best Postgraduate Essay (see Awards for more information)
  • Access to networks and resources for your own Australian literature-related initiatives with the support of ASAL State Representatives and/or Postgraduate and Early Career Researcher Representatives
