19 Feb ASALvets 2020 Adelaide to the Flinders Ranges
In August (3-10) the ASALvets group will be travelling from Adelaide to Wilpena Pound, exploring the area to the north of South Australia. The tour will include a visit to Geoffrey Dutton’s former home, Anlaby near Kapunda, and visits to some of the famous wineries along the way. We will stay on Bungaree Station and be guided through the Aboriginal sites near Wilpena Pound, with the possibility of a flight over Lake Eyre. Conference papers are invited on South Australian writers and writing about the area: such as the Jindyworobaks, Colin Thiele, Ian Mudie, Eva Hornung (Sallis), Peter Goldsworthy, Catherine Martin. There is a limit of 16 places on the tour, so the conference will be informal. For a full itinerary and further information contact Susan Lever, [email protected]
